Passionate about photography, I received my BA at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I worked with and was mentored by Peter Beard, Kenneth Willardt, and Mary Ellen Mark in New York, and studied under Harvey Stein and Steve McCurry at ICP, before moving to California.
I found myself drawn toward a combination of non-profit work and working with children, teaching them photography. I learned that working with children is a wonderful gift and have a natural talent for children’s photography.
